Discover Microblading, a semi-permanent eyebrow make-up technique. Do you lack eyebrows? Would you like to intensify your look to enhance your personality? On the contrary, do you want to soften a hard look? Microblading will correct, redesign or thicken your eyebrow line to enhance your eyes.
This method consists of injecting pigments under the first layers of the epidermis in order to redraw the eyebrow line. The manual application is done using nano-needles over a session that lasts 1h30 to 2 hours. The procedure, which is no more painful than plucking, is reminiscent of the tattoo technique, with the difference that it is temporary. The result of this eyebrow reshaping lasts from 12 to 16 months from the first touch-up. Afterwards, you may have touch-ups once or twice a year.
Close to the art of trompe-l’oeil, Microblading is an ideal way to rectify a look and to create harmonious and expressive eyebrows. However, there is no question of having Kim Kardashian’s eyebrows! Microblading restores your eyebrows in a perfectly natural way, and adapts to men’s needs.
This micro-pigmentation make-up technique is temporary and safe. Just follow some dermatological advice within 72 hours before and after the Microblading session.
A CAREFULLY CONSIDERED DECISION
While this process is not irreversible, opting for semi-permanent make-up is not a trivial decision as the results are lasting. Consequently, Atelier du Regard® proposes a two-step process. The first, the consultation, involves reshaping your brow line using a pencil, based on the natural brow shape which is often damaged by repetitive, flawed plucking.
Once this stage is complete and after a period of reflection, an appointment will be made for the application.
If you are already convinced to do semi-permanent make-up, the consultation and pigmentation are done during the same appointment. This saves time and money.

APPLICATION AND REFILLS
The first Microblading session lasts about 1h30.
The following touch-ups last 1 hour.

There are several application techniques for redesigning eyebrows with semi-permanent make-up.
Microblading is used to design eyebrows.
Browshading is applied point by point and corrects, thickens, intensifies and enhances the eyebrow line.
Powderblading or Mix-Technique, uses both pigmentation techniques. It is used to draw missing eyebrows (Microblading) and give a 3D impression of your eyebrow (Browshading). It is used to draw missing eyebrows (Microblading) and give a 3D impression of your eyebrow (Browshading).
According to our experience with men’s eyebrows, the most common semi-permanent make-up need is to redesign it with the Microblading technique.
However, we may need to use Powderblading to give the eyebrows a neater, more fluffy look.
The choice of technique will be defined during the consultation.
HOW LONG DO THE RESULTS LAST?
Between 12 and 18 months.

Contraindications
People suffering from diabetes, kidney failure, an auto-immune disease, haemophilia or chronic asthma, fitted with a cardiac prosthesis or who have difficulty healing.
We temporarily advise against micropigmentation in the case of conjunctivitis, herpes or cold sores, Vitamin A treatment, sinusitis or simply if you have a bad cold.
COMBINED TREATMENTS
TIPS
72 hours before the appointment, avoid: Tinting or bleaching the area in question. Exfoliation or peels. Exposure to the sun, UV rays and self-tanning products. Aspirin or anticoagulants.
For one week after the micropigmentation appointment: No exposure to the sun or UV rays. Avoid water, swimming in the sea, hammams, saunas…
Do not scratch or rub the treated area. Apply a healing cream.
AFTER APPLICATION
Once the pigments have stabilised, refills may be necessary after 4 to 6 weeks.
Given the temporary nature of semi-permanent make-up, in order to preserve the intensity, refills may be organised every six months or year.
IS IT PAINFUL?
While individual pain levels vary, the micropigmentation appointment is not painful; The sensation is similar to that of plucking. However, for very sensitive people, it is possible to numb the treated areas by applying an anaesthetic cream an hour before the treatment.
This cream is available in pharmacies with a prescription.
ALLERGIC REACTIONS AND COLOUR CHANGES

Consequently, Atelier du Regard® collaborates with a laboratory with more than 30 years’ experience, the leader in the field of safe pigment manufacture, offering pigments composed of extremely pure raw materials of mineral origin, thus limiting the risk of colour changes. The pigments are guaranteed sterile, free from preservatives, setting agents, aromatic amines and oil-based derivatives..
A colour change is not always due to the quality of the pigment; tolerance and the reaction of the skin can also play a role, sometimes even resulting in rejection of the pigment, although this remains exceptional.
